All figures about and basis good weather condition and not excess Beaufort Scale 4 and Douglas Sea State scale 3 with swell and/or significant wave up to 1.25 meters, smooth sea, without any adverse currents or other impediments. The vessel shall have the liberty of using marine gas oil for starting/stopping of main engine/generator engine and for maneuvering in narrow/shallow water, and for generator engine in case of no cargo operation in port.
Ballast water exchange:
In compliance with the ballast water exchange operation mandatorily required by the port states, the extra marine fuel and/or gas oil thus consumed and extra time thus incurred, including but not limiting to the deviation as being deemed necessary by the master, shall be for charterers’ account.
The details of time incurred and quantities of fuel consumed shall be calculated in accordance with ballast water exchange log and shall be as conclusive evidence thereon.
Required bunker specs:
IFO - RMG380 according ISO 8217 (2005 edition or any subsequent amendments thereto)
LSMGO – DMA according ISO 8217 (2005 edition or any subsequent amendments thereto)
Charterers to comply with fuel Sulphur content as per the latest requirements of MARPOL ANNEX VI MARPOL 73/78 as amended and BIMCO bunker fuel Sulphur content clause for time charter parties 2005 to be applied.
Owners will not accept other spec than above bunker spec.
Off-spec bunker unfits for use in the main engine shall be entitled to be pumped ashore at the first opportunity at charterers cost and with no time loss for owners.
Charterers guarantee that during the currency of this charter they will not supply to the vessel any bunkers that are of Iranian or Syrian origin (including but not limited to bunkers of Iranian or Syrian origin that are blended with bunkers of non-Iranian or non-Syrian origin). Charterers will be liable for and will fully indemnify Owners against any liability , loss, damages, costs, fines and sanctions of whatsoever nature that are suffered by Owners in connection with the supply by Charterers to the vessel of bunkers that are of Iranian or Syrian
