The Charterers shall supply bunkers of a quality suitable for burning in the
Vessel's main engine,auxiliary engines and boilers with a maximum viscosity
of 380 CST and which conforms to the specifications of ISO Standard
8217:2010 where available else ISO Standard 8217:2005 or any subsequent
amendments and to supply ultra low sulphur marine gasoil oil (0.1 pct) which
conforms to the specifications of ISO Standard
8217:2010
where available else ISO Standard 8217:2005 or any subsequent amendments.
In the case Bunkers of a quality ISO 8217: 2005 are the only bunkers
available in the specific port the charterers to advise the Managers well in
advance of their intentions to supply FO in accordance with ISO 8217: 2005
and at the same time confirming that FO complying with ISO
8217: 2010 is not available
for delivery.
BIMCO BUNKER FUEL SULPHUR CONTENT CLAUSE FOR TIME C/P'S 2005 TO APPLY
SHOULD NEW REGULATIONS COME INTO FORCE ON 1ST JANUARY 2020, OR AT ANY OTHER
TIME, GOVERNING THE GLOBAL SULPHUR LIMIT FOR FUEL ACCORDING TO MARPOL ANNEX
VI, CHARTERERS SHALL SUPPLY 0.1PCT LOW SULPHUR FUEL, TO ALLOW THE VESSEL TO
COMPLY WITH THE REGULATION.
